2022年12月20日（火）、昨夜からの雪が積もり、BC州南部の一部地域では20 cm を超える積雪が記録されています。この大雪が各地に影響を与えていて、交通機関の遅延やキャンセルなどが発生しています。
バンクーバー国際空港
バンクーバー国際空港でも火曜日の朝8時時点で25㎝の積雪が報告されていて、大量のキャンセルがあり旅行者に大きな影響が出ている状況です。以下のYVRの投稿によると、運航便のキャンセルは今後１週間先まで予想されるとのことです。
Passengers who are expecting to fly today and this week are advised to check with their airline directly on the status of their flight. We are asking people to please not come to YVR if you do not absolutely need to.

YVRはもうサイレントにパニックしてます。
どこのカウンターも長蛇の列。昨晩から待っている人、今朝どうにか空港に着いた人たちで、みんなストレスがすごい。かなり不穏な空気。スタッフの案内に不満が爆発している声もしばしば聞こえます。

また、バスやスカイトレインでも遅延やルートの変更、キャンセルが出ていました。LifeVancouverスタッフも今朝家の近くのバス停で1時間ほど待ったのですが、結局バスが来ませんでした。（家に戻った後に、Translinkがバスは運行されていないことをツイートしていました泣）
午前11時頃にTranslinkのTwitterを見ると、少しずつですが各路線で通常運行に戻りつつあるようなので、最新情報はTranslinkのTwitterで確認してみてください。
